Research & development
The majority of rubber compounds are manufactured in the Mixing Plant. The in-house mixing lines enable the manufacture of a broad range of rubber compounds based on all types of rubber and in different RAL colours to suit various applications. The compounds are natural rubber or synthetic rubber-based: NR, IR, BR, SBR,CR, NBR, NBR/PVC, IIR, CIIR, BrIIR, CSM, EPM, EPDM, EAM, HNBR and their blends. Materials are continually developed and optimised to meet the requirements of our customers.
Using its own expertise, extensive experience and modern equipment, our R&D Institute, which has been operating as an independent research unit in the industry since 1963, develops solutions in the field of polymer composites and turns ideas into products. R&D Institute is the mainstay of the development of elastomeric materials in the region; it also manages and implements R&D projects co-funded by the European Union and collaborates with many renowned partners from industry and academic circles.
In-house R&D Institute further provides virtual development or virtual prototyping – a modern interdisciplinary approach to innovative product development.
As part of R&D Institute, the Central Laboratory provides physical, chemical and technological laboratory services in the field of polymers. The Central Laboratory includes a physical laboratory with both a prototype unit and a reinforcement testing unit, as well as a chemistry laboratory.
